This Agreement applies to verified artisans selling on Maangat, in addition to our Terms of Service.
Verification & KYC
Artisans must complete identity verification (ITA RA 11967) and provide BIR registration details, including a Form 2303 reference, before publishing products. KYC documents are encrypted at rest.
Listings
You are responsible for accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, stock, and lawful, authentic products. Maangat may review, reject, or remove listings that violate our policies or the law.
Fees & payouts
Maangat charges a 10% platform fee per item sold. Payouts settle directly to artisans via the payment provider. Where required, BIR withholding (RR 16-2023) is computed on remittances above the ₱500,000 annual threshold (1% on one-half of the gross).
Fulfillment
You must fulfill paid orders promptly, ship with valid tracking, and keep order status up to date. Repeated non-fulfillment may lead to suspension.
Compliance
You must comply with the Internet Transactions Act, BIR tax obligations, and consumer-protection laws. Maangat cooperates with lawful takedown and redress requests.
Suspension & termination
Maangat may suspend or remove an artisan for policy or legal violations. Outstanding payouts and tax records are retained as required by law.
